  How does the SCHLUFF SEWERAGE SYSTEM work?  
 
  • Pumps generate a vacuum of 0,6 - 0,7 bar in the vacuum tanks in the pumpstation.
  • The vacuum extends via pipes to the domestic shafts.

  • As soon as liquid waste is sucked out under addition of air through the pipe towards the vacuum pump station.
  • The mixture of water and air reaches the vakuum tank in batches.
  • As soon as the tanks are full, pumps transport the sewage to the sewage treatment plant for processing.
  • The water is then treated and runs through a determination plant where the bacteries are taken out.
    After that, the water is prepared for irrigation.
